Colleen’s love for a good story started as a child when she’d smuggle a book and a flashlight to bed so she could read well past her bedtime. Her television career began as an award-winning journalist at WCCO-TV, a CBS O&O, covering news from Northern Ireland, Africa, New Guinea, Central and South America and from behind the news desk.

Finally, in 1995, she made the next logical career move when she founded Tremendous! Entertainment to produce a live action puppet show for preschoolers?! It didn’t take long for Colleen to discover puppets were well above her pay grade, so she focused her attention on wildlife, food, travel, adventure, history, science and lifestyle programs. 

The company has been breaking new ground ever since with live programming and award-winning series like Delicious Destinations and Bizarre Foods, Meet the Peetes, Haunted Towns, Health & Happiness, Baked with Tom Papa and Emmy award winning Rock the Park on ABC, and Naturally, Danny Seo on NBC.

Today, Colleen spearheads the company’s new series development and oversees the production of hundreds of hours of programming.
